Whether you are looking to improve your writing skills in general, publish your first piece of work, or working on your twelfth Great American Novel, taking a writing class is a great way to develop or fine tune your writing skills. The problem with this in today's world is finding the time to schedule a class and then actually attending the class. You can pay as much as $300 for a 6-week course and have only 5 other writers in the class to critique your work. With The Write Author, membership is only $7.95 per month (discounts available) and scheduling is never a problem. Modern technology allows you access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can write or post your writings whenever it is convenient for you. In a regular classroom setting you only have so much time to critique and be critiqued before the class is over. With The Write Author, there is no time limit so you can post as much as you want during your membership and receive constructive criticism from a multitude of members. With limited membership and dedicated moderators, The Write Author assures your work will receive the constructive criticism you deserve. As a member, it is also your job to read and constructively criticize the writings of other members in our community. We are looking for serious-minded readers only to offer constructive criticism to our writers. The serious reader knows the value they are receiving for $1.99 and will take his responsibility seriously. In addition to having a large library of virgin work to enjoy, the critiquing member will have a monthly chance at being named in The Peak of Critique in The Write Magazine and will also be eligible for various contests free of charge. What is not included in the monthly charge? You will not be able to post stories, participate in writing assignments, or create blogs. Everything else in our community will be available to you at no additional cost. |
